They are losing faith in disarmament initiatives and have little trust in the capabilities of the police. Poverty and unemployment are identified as the driving forces behind insecurity and they call for these issues to be addressed as a priority. More The Human Rights Research & Advocacy Consortium (HRRAC) wants the Government of Afghanistan to respect the principles of justice and human rights, which they have sworn to uphold before the Afghan nation, in the discussions and decisions of the National Consultative Peace Jirga and not trample the aforementioned principles.
